Information technology is a breakthrough in the modern age, a more effective and efficient in processing the data and producing information as material support or decision support. PT. Eternal Rosan is one company that has hundreds or even thousands of employees almost. The management is expected to select the employees to be appointed as permanent employees in accordance with company requirements and fit the criteria. During this time the company is still sometimes incorrectly choose or appoint employees and ultimately employee performance is less than the maximum. The assessment process for promotion of these employees use decision support system with satisfasing method. For satisfasing process and gap analysis is made on the basis of the data and the norms of human resources (HR) found in companies. Satisfasing process conducted to determine recommended promotion of employees in the system based on three aspects, namely productivity, managerial, attitude and personality. The result of this process is its value as a basis for recommendations to decision makers promotion of employees who excel. Using waterwall and software development methods used is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. From the results of the implementation of such a system, this software is expected to help the decision making process of the promotion process satisfasing for PT. Rosan Eternal. With the decision support system aimed at companies hiring permanent employees not one raised as permanent employees and in the process of determining the employees become more effective and efficient.
